
We are so excited to announce the details for this years Mid Year Display!
Our Mid Year Display is a fun, stress free performance opportunity for students that allows parents, grandparents and friends to see what your children have learnt in class throughout the first half of the year. Our Mid Year Display is a highlight of the year and so much fun!

WHEN
Sunday 28 June, 2026
Please see the show orders to see which session/s your dancer is performing in.
LOCATION
Our Mid Year Showcase will be held at Pacific Hills Christian School: 9-15 Quarry Rd, Dural.
⏰ ARRIVAL TIMES
Dancers must arrive 30 minutes before their session start time, dressed in the correct DANCE on Q uniform, with hair and makeup done, ready for their first performance.
Session Arrival Times:
Session 1: 9:00am
Session 2: 11:00am
Session 3: 1:30pm
Session 4: 3:15pm

👯♀️ MID YEAR DISPLAY PROCEDURES
Upon arrival, dancers will be signed in and directed to a fully supervised backstage area, where they will remain for the duration of their session.
All dancers must arrive:
In the correct DANCE on Q uniform (check the Session show orders to see what your first routine is)
With hair and makeup done
Ready to perform
Dancers will remain backstage for the entire session, as they are required to return to the auditorium at the conclusion of the performances for a finale-style finish.
🎟️ PARENT ENTRY & SEATING
Doors will open 10 minutes prior to each session
All audience members must have their wristbands ready for entry
Entry is general admission, with no allocated seating
👨👩👧 END OF SESSION & PICK UP
At the conclusion of the session, dancers will be brought back into the hall and supervised for collection.
Parents are asked to remain seated until student pick-up begins, at which time instructions will be given to ensure a smooth and safe collection process.
UNIFORM
All students are required to wear full DANCE on Q uniform to perform in as well as the correct footwear. This includes:
BALLET
Pre-Primary to Grade 1 (incl. Ballet/Jazz):
Candy pink Bloch RAD Rosa leotard
Pink ballet stockings (Weissman)
Candy pink Bloch Royale skirt
Grade 2 to Grade 5:
Navy Bloch Rosa leotard
Navy chiffon Bloch skirt
Pink ballet stockings (Weissman)
Intermediate FDT to Advanced FDT:
Black leotard (student’s own)
Black chiffon Bloch skirt
Pink ballet stockings (Weissman)
Boys (All Levels):
DANCE on Q black T-shirt
Black shorts/leggings/pants
Shoes:
Girls: Pink leather ballet shoes
Boys: Black leather ballet shoes
ALL OTHER DANCE STYLES
(Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Lyrical, Singing, Technique, Acro, etc.)
Any DANCE on Q uniform items (tops/bottoms), or
Your own DANCE on Q uniform top with any black dancewear bottoms.
Shoes:
Jazz/Musical Theatre/Technique: Black jazz shoes
Tap: Black tap shoes
Hip Hop: Sneakers (any colour)
Contemporary/Lyrical/Acro: Barefoot
CHEER
DANCE on Q cheer uniform (required for performances – purchase or hire)
White sneakers
White crew socks
Please note: The venue can get a little cold inside. Dancers may wish to wear something warm over their uniform that they can take off quickly and easily. Our DNCE on Q Jackets are perfect for this!
Make sure you don't leave any uniform purchases until the last minute as our uniform does sell out fast!
GROOMING
Girls Hair: Parted in the centre, slick into a mid bun (in line with the ears).
Boys Hair: Neatly styled and off face
MAKE UP:
Petite Performers & all students 8 Years & Under: Make Up is not compulsory. If you do wish to wear make up, a natural look is best (blush, mascara, lip gloss).
All students 9 Years and Older:
Light Foundation
Blush
Natural toned eye shadow (brown/golden)
Black mascara
Red Lipstick
Please also make sure shoes and uniforms are clean and looking presentable.

If you aren't already, please make sure you are on Band App. Teachers will be posting class updates and videos of routines along with the music for your dancer to practice in the lead up to the Mid-Year Display. Reach out if you need any assistance with joining your dancers classes on Band.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday 9 June, 2026 from 9:00am and can be purchased by clicking the button at the top of this page.
TICKETING INFORMATION
Adults (12+ Years): $35
Child (2-11 Years): $25
* Children under 2 years old do not require a ticket if they will be sitting on a parents lap.
Note:
Tickets are general admission, there is no allocated seating or limits on number of tickets you can purchase.
Tickets available until sold out.
Tickets are non-refundable.
Note: All tickets purchased provide entry into every session in which your child performs in.
The correct wristbands to your child/childrens respective session times will be allocated to you.
